Privacy notice for students
Apply to Medicine Programme. Updated 24 October 2026.
This page is for you if you are under 18 and thinking about applying to medical school. It explains, in plain English, what happens to your details when you register with us or join our free taster session. The full privacy notice says the same things in more detail.
The short version. We ask for as little as we can. We use your details only to tell you about this programme. We never sell them or use them for adverts. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Who we are
The programme is run by PM Diplomas (the trading name of Professional Medical International Ltd), a company in England. We are responsible for looking after your details. You can always reach us at info@pmdiplomas.com.
Can I register myself?
- If you are 16 or 17, yes. You tick a box to say you are 16 or over. We suggest you tell a parent, guardian or teacher that you have registered.
- If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to register for you, using their own name and email address. We then send the information to them.
What we ask for
- Your name and email address.
- That you are a student, and the country you live in.
- Which part of the programme you are interested in.
- If you want to tell us, the date of your first medical school interview.
We do not ask for your date of birth, your school, your grades, your phone number, photos, or anything about your health. Please do not send us these things unless we ask for them later, for a reason we explain first.
What we use it for
- To send you the joining details for the free taster session.
- To tell you when you can sign up for the part of the programme you chose.
- To answer your questions.
That is all. We do not:
- sell your details or give them to anyone for marketing;
- share them with medical schools, UCAS or the UCAT Consortium;
- build a profile of you, show you adverts, or track you around the internet;
- use cookies or trackers on this website.
At the free taster session and our webinars
- Your camera and microphone stay off the whole time, so you do not appear on screen or in any recording.
- You can ask questions in a chat that our team checks. We never read out your full name, and you can use just your first name if you prefer.
- Our team only contacts you by email from a PM Diplomas or Apply to Medicine address. We will never message you privately on social media, WhatsApp or text, or ask you to meet anyone.
Who can see your details
Only the course directors and the small PM Diplomas team who answer enquiries. Some companies run our systems for us, for example our database and the service that sends our emails. They can use your details only to do that job for us, and must keep them safe. The full privacy notice names them.
How long we keep them
If you do not join the programme, we delete your details twelve months after you last contacted us. If you do join, we will give you a separate notice first that explains what we keep and for how long.
Your rights
Your details belong to you. At any time you can ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your details;
- stop emailing you (or just reply to any email and say stop).
Email info@pmdiplomas.com. You do not need a reason, and it is free. A parent or guardian can also ask for you.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, tell us and we will try to put it right. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office, which protects people’s data in the UK, at ico.org.uk.
If something worries you
If anything that happens on the programme worries you, or someone contacts you in a way that feels wrong, tell a parent, a teacher or another adult you trust, and email us at info@pmdiplomas.com with “Safeguarding” in the subject line. Our safeguarding policy explains what we do next. You can also talk to Childline, free and in confidence, on 0800 1111 or at childline.org.uk. If you are in danger right now, call 999.
Changes
If anything here changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
